Maths

Well well well, the Econs division didn't offer Statistic at this sem and I thought things will go pretty well. 

BUT, it's definitely a big WRONG WRONG!
Cause I'm taking HE 1003 Basic Mathematics For Economics now.
The subject consists of calculus and linear algebra ='(

As I said, my mathematics foundation is not strong due to my slackness in high school ='(
I got a huge problem when dealing with all these differentiation, integration etc etc ='(

In the first lecture, I totally couldn't understand the first part of lecture =.= 
As the Prof assumed we all learned those things before and familiar with all the differentiation d.
However, I managed to catch up when she explained everything all over again after she realised many of us actually can't understand.

Anyhow, understand and can do is two different things.
I managed to understand every single thing in the notes and her example but while doing the online tutorial questions, I felt so frustrate. T_T
Luckily the online program allowed us to look at the solution if we really can't do and try another similar question after understand the solution.
After a few attempts I still manage to get it passed =D

Hopefully things will be better soon.
At least be better to me in my Maths skill.

The Malaysian Seniors

Touched down in Singapore for a couple of days d and so far I'm feeling good with it =D

For this, I have to really thanks all the Malaysian seniors that actually helped us a lot.

Malaysian are nice people and now I feel this strongly.

Once we reached NTU, there were seniors that actually helped us to take our luggage to the very far away hostel room. My room though is located at level 2, but before reaching our room, we have to climb a very long staircase. Imagine the seniors is helping us to take the very heavy luggage back till our room. *Touching*

After settling down in the hostel, the seniors bring us to the Students Activities Center (SAC) to settle our registration and admin stuffs =D They can actually just have their good rest in their room, but they offering this without hesitation. Without them, I think I can probably get lost in the campus on first day itself =.=

The seniors also brought us to have meals at different canteens (I would talk about the food here after I explore more), brought us to the different places for our freshmen talks, brought us to the campus tour, brought us outside campus and recommended us the places to buy cheaper stuff, etc etc..

Not forgetting to say they have this senior talk for us. They gathered seniors that are under different courses and gave us detailed briefing about the courses that we going to pursued soon, for example they told us which subject is hard to score, way to add/drop subject, which lecturer is the best, etc etc..

Malaysian here are nice, really nice =D

Thanks for everything that you guys offered us and I'll for sure get it in return by offering helps to the next batch of juniors. Let's the love passing around <3

My Uni =D

Well, this was my first and ever post here and I might wanna introduce you something regarding the university I am in now =D

I'm currently an undergraduate in Nanyang Technology University (NTU). I'm taking Economics as my main major and I'm in the School of Humanities and Social Science (HSS) =)

The main campus is a 200-ha residential and located in the south-western part of Singapore, near the Jurong West Extension area. It's only a 5 mins journey from the custom if you are coming from Malaysia =D

It has got around 120 buildings. For your info, only the hostel conquer more than 70 blocks =.= (I just realised also when I typing this entry =P)

It has a very huge campus, the largest in SG.
