How To Train Your Dragon 2 Review

Went to watch "How To Train Your Dragon 2" with the little sis at TGV Kepong on Monday. It was quite some times ago since me went to the cinema I think.

PS : I kinda dislike service at TGV Kepong. Cinema with weird smell, overlong ads (wasted my 20mins) and awful popcorn. "Great" job TGV, luckily the movie is nice enough!

As someone that didn't watch the first How To Train Your Dragon movie back in 2010, I went in the cinema knowing nothing about the movie. But I am glad that I made a right choice :P It kinda captured my interest now to watch the first HTTYD movie LOL..
How To Train Your Dragon 2

Synopsis :
Hiccup goes on adventures with his dragon, a night fury - Toothless to discover and map unexplored lands and territories. He, as son of Stoick the Vast, is being pressed by his father to succeed him as chieftain, although Hiccup remains unsure if he is ready for that.

While investigating a wildfire, Hiccup and Astrid (GF of Hiccup :P) encounter a dragon trapper named Eret who attempts to capture their dragons for Drago Bludvist. They return to Berk to warn Stoick about Drago and Stoick orders the villagers to prepare for battle. Hiccup refuses to believe that war is inevitable and he then flies off with Astrid, hope to be taken to Drago in order to reason with him to prevent the war.

Later, Hiccup and Toothless discover an ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious dragon rider named Valka, who is revealed to be Hiccup's long lost mother. Hiccup and Toothless then find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace and they must unite to stand up for what they believe while recognizing that only together they have the power to defeat Drago and the Dragon Alpha.

The Trailer :D

Kinda love the plot, a very heart-warming one.
Ain't sure was it me being too sentimental or just the scenes were too touching, it made me tear in the cinema for some minutes. *sobs*

And not to forget, all the cute dragons! The interaction of dragons and their owners just kept us WOW throughout the whole movie.
Toothless, the Hero!
It is just being too cute in the movie :D

They interact just like human :D

The different dragons :D

Directed by Dean DeBlois, this 1 hour and 45 minutes long animation seems to receive a lot of good reviews :D Rating 7.7/10 at the Rotten Tomatoes website and 8.5/10 at the IMDb website :D

So is it a big YES for you to the cinema? It is definitely from me :)
Enjoy the movie peeps!
